The Gurukula needs your support
Immediate Needs

Water supply and modern sanitary facilities.

A big community dining hall to accommodate 3000 students at a time

A new hostel for 1500 students.

A new health center to provide medical facilities to the residents of the Gurukula.
To Contribute

Create an
endowment by donating $ 2500 to support one student permanently. Your endowment can be in
your name or someone else of your choice.
The names of such donors will be displayed
in the Dining Hall.

Donate
annually to support one or more students at
$ 250 per student.

Donate an amount
of your choice towards any of the immediate
needs or towards general operation.

Note that
corporations such as Microsoft have already matched the donations to SHM by their employees.

Recent Grants
In
September 2013, SHM provided a matching grant of $20,000
towards:
1] Updating the Kitchen infrastructure to automated
cooking equipment
2] Steel Dining tables for the dining halls, and
3] 3000 writing desks for students at the Mutt.
The total project cost
is $65,000.00 and is supported as follows:

In
May 2011, SHM provided a grant of $17000 to Siddaganga
Gurukula,. This grant is to establish ‘Endowment to
support for life’ for five students (at $2500 each) and
to support general activities.
